He may be already considereed as a living legend. But regardless of bombastic introductions without any doubts Tommy Victor is one of the most interesting individuals on US heavy rock scene. Involved in such influential and respected acts like: PRONG, MINISTRY and DANZIG he's resposible for delivering of quality noise and the one who stands behind the such a classic and powerful albums like “Cleansing”, “Rio Grande Blood” and “Prove You Wrong”. As a vocalist, guitarist, composer and producer he has many times proved that he deserves the respect which he gained. This year Tommy finishes his journey with Al Jourgensen under MINISTRY's flag with “Adios... Puta Madres” live album. Do we need a better opportunity to have a chance to talk to Tommy? You know him surely. If not everybody, at least the most of you. He has a slimy, oblong face, as the true metal maniac – long hair and numerous tattoos, and among of them a logo of his own band, placed outside of the left arm. He plays drums since the childhood, living and breathing by brutal death metal. Took a part in a few of murderous undertakings of Dutch death metal scene, from which the most important stays however SEVERE TORTURE – a group, which had needed above 10 years to become itself the one from most important acts of European death metal, glorifying obssessionaly the murder, death, mutilation and other questions, making creep the flesh of ordinary man. If you’ve ever seen the enormous size of Mike Portnoy’s drum set, you should be sure that you have to do with a musician of great stature. Virtuosity, flair and unlimited invention in looking for the most ingenious percussion instruments (even a punch ball recently) made him a frequent visitor of every branch rating possible. I fully understand people who rather regard Fenriz as the embodiment of music artistry and a good taste – a perfect anti-thesis to a refined Portnoy’s style - but you must give back to king what is king’s. I don't foresee corpsepaint in my future

The big respect is only one, what I should to feel for him. A job of bass player in death metal band is absolutely no easy job, especially considering his value, discography and promotional undertakings, mirroring itself in the hundreds and even thousands kilometers done during the tours. Everybody knows, that CANNIBAL CORPSE belongs since many years to the leaders of death machines in the world, so intensity of the gigs is here nothing strange.
