Peter Wiwczarek- in metal community known more as Peter from more than 25 years remains a leader of a legendary Polish death metal machinery VADER. Man who devoted his entire life to the heaviest style of extreme music. His musical taste has been shaped on albums which today are considered to be absolute classics. Peter grew up listening on his knees the following albums:

I. BLACK SABBATH- "Black Sabbath"
Definitely one of those big Things , that never get old! This album changed my live totally back in 1980. Everything started that day. A New Eon has begun... Almost 15 years later I had a chance to cover the title song and give a high tribute to this Band, who gave me with their Music so many happy moments in my life. On Your knees!!!!!




II. JUDAS PRIEST - "Unleashed In The East"
After New Life given to me by mighty Sabbath, the time came... to continue Music in my own way. Priest baptized me with this awesome Live album. The very first from Their discography I ever heard....It was like a hit by the hammer!!! A motivation to start to play guitar. I really doubt if Vader would ever started to exist without this record. New image, new Power and new motivation. I remember the big Priest poster being pin up to the wall in my room every time I stayed alone... It was forbidden in my family. That was my first personal rebel, I guess...

III. SLAYER - "Show No Mercy"
Since I started to play- Extremity was the goal!!!! After SAXON, MOTORHEAD or just mentioned PRIEST came ....SLAYER!!!! For decade I couldn't find anything equal in speed or aggression. I loved this Band since I listened it for a first time in one of radio channels in Poland. The shock couldn't just stop!!! These guys from LA were also the main reason, why we quit Zbyszek (with whom I started VADER): speed!!!! We wanted to play fast as Hell Itself!!!


IV. SLAYER - "Reign In Blood"
Not even 30 minutes that changed the World!!! Even for such a freak of speed like me it was Revolution!!!! Even today I have goose skin every time when I listen to this Masterpiece. And the cover!!! One of the very best ever created...I remember the tape, that was totally worn out after hundreds of play...I still have it.




V. DARK ANGEL - "Darkness Descends"
I couldn't believe, Gene was so young when was recording this vicious album. In 93 I met Him in LA on Vader's first tour in USA... Watta evening was that, man!!!! If Slayer with Dave were kings of Speed - DARK ANGEL's were the king of all kings!!! "The Burning Of Sodom"....still burns my mind! So pity, this huge band never reached the level , They've always deserved for...



VI. MORBID ANGEL - "Altars Of Madness"
Oh yes!!! Next Angel, who possessed me totally. Since I knew "Thy Kingdom Come" demo I was waiting for the debut album. I love Trey's style of Chaos on this record! So much passion... MORBID were natural evolution of Extremity started by PRIEST and later continued by SLAYER. It means: a must for me! In 96 we had a honor to support Them on one of absolutely best tour we ever experienced... Great Musicians, great People... I really hope, They will record way albums more then letters in the alphabet.


VII. KREATOR - "Pleasure To Kill"
They were the very first band from European continent I really adore. Even today I wear with proud "Pleasure..." T-shirt given to me by Stony- one of KREATOR's close Friend. Once I even painted the cover of this album on the whole wall in my Dude's room. It was real Chaos, so hard to name with the words!!! Today KREATOR's are for sure way better musicians BUT this album belongs to 10 top Metal albums EVER recorded!!! Fury and uncontrolled Power!!!! Just Pleasure To Kill!!!


VIII. OZZY OSBOURNE - "Diary Of A Madman"
No wonder why this album was a shock for my and all who are like me. Randy!!!! His play inspired 99% of Metal guitarists...Awesome leads, awesome performance!!! There is -in my opinion - no other album like this one existing. Not much guitarists can feel the balance between speed, melody and artism. Rest In Peace Randy....




IX. KAT- "666"
This band might be not so much known outside of Poland BUT They were and They ARE the Heroes in my country!!! In 85' when I had a permission to visit the biggest Rock Festival in Poland (and one of the biggest in Europe these days for sure) I lost my breath in total mosh during Their show!!! KAT inspired probably same many Metal bands in Poland as Slayer. They were the first band with Black Metal attitude and They taught us (also me) how "tasted" Hell indeed.


X. ACCEPT - "Restless And Wild"
I still love this album so much!!! In times when Iron Maiden and Their technical style was the most popular in Poland...I was spending hours listening "Princess Of The Down". This song just hypnotizes with its riff... The whole record, sound and songs were the beginning of the upcoming Thrash times...which came later. Awesome and always fresh!!!!
