ALEX CAMARGO

KRISIUN

Alex Camargo mostly known as KRISIUN's vocalist/ bassist. Very honest person when it comes to music so it's always nice to talk to him. This time we decided to ask Alex about 10 monumental albums than changed his life and way of thinking. Here they are:

I.AC/DC - "Let There Be Rock"
My very first album...my older brother gave it to me... That´s the one who made me become a metal head...The first riff of "Whole Lotta Rosie" was like a thunder hittin my mind.





 
II. JUDAS PRIEST - "Defenders Of The Faith"
One of my first albums too...very dark and evil...the songs were like sharp razors...great guitars, great vocals
 






III. IRON MAIDEN - "Piece Of Mind"
Just like most of metal fans, I was into IRON MAIDEN big time...This album is like a bombshell of pure technical metal... great songs and great lyirics
 






IV. BLACK SABBATH- "Heaven And Hell"
I also dig SABBATH with DIO...this album was a great come back, nobody believed that
 some one could replace OZZY...DIO is one of my favorite singers and this album was very important to me...
 




V.MOTORHEAD - "Overkill"
...The first time I heard the double bass drum attack, dirty driven bass and vocals...fast and loud...MOTORHEAD forever!
 






VI. SLAYER - "Reign In Blood"
Probably my favorite album of all times... For me this album has turned the page to modern extreme metal.
 






VII. METALLICA - "Ride The Lightning"
A bit more melodic than SLAYER, but with the same intensity and innovation. James used to be one hell of a great frontman, guitar player and singer.
 





VIII. SEPULTURA - "Schizophrenia"
When I first heard this album I knew these guys would shatter the barriers...I consider this album the first great/professional album done in South America. This album has a huge influence on us, in all aspects...
 





IX. MORBID ANGEL - "Altars Of Madness"
I think this album has defined what is death metal all about...the whole package, the playing, the vocals and the messages.







X.DEICIDE - "Deicide"
A lesson in brutallity and evilness...
