Founding member of German legendary death metal band ATROCITY. Well-known producer and the owner of Mastersound Studio. Married to Liv Kristine Espenæs, (who previously worked with THEATRE OF TRAGEDY) front-female vocalist of Norwegian/German metal band LEAVES' EYES. Hereby we would like to introduce Alexander Krull and his 10 all-time-favorite albums:

I. DEEP PURPLE - "Made In Japan"
I started to listen to Deep Purple when I was only six years old and I loved it, esspecially this album! So thats actually the start of mine to become a fan and musician of hard music!






II. PINK FLOYD - "The Wall"
One of the first albums I bought as a kid with 9 years! It has a great atmosphere and probably since then I was inspired myself to write concept albums!






III. IRON MAIDEN - "Killers"
Everybody is telling around "Number of the beast" is the No. 1 classic of Maiden. For me it's the Killers album. I love the rough attitude of that period and Paul Dianno's dirty Metal voice! Great stuff!






IV. SLAYER - "Hell Awaits"
I saw Slayer on their "Hell Awaits" tour in 1985 and it was an unforgettable show! I have no idea how many times I have listened to that masterpiece!







V. CELTIC FROST - "To Mega Therion"
Celtic Frost is a cult-act! I like the combintion of dark, symphonic and heavy music on this album. Also the HR Giger Cover is great! Some years later we had also a Giger artwork on "Hallucinations", perfect!






VI. RAVEN - "All For One"
One of my favorites of the NWOBH! The sound and the songs are awesome! I love the drumsound with all the Roto Toms! Mind over Metal !!!!







VII. JUDAS PRIEST - "Unleashed In The East"
This one and Saxon's "The eagle has landed" are my evergreens of NWOBH Livealbums and I think they sound better than some of their studiowork back then hahaha






VIII. LAIBACH - "Opus Dei"
Another cult band! As Atrocity are called the Metal "chameleon", Laibach the "chameleon" of electronic music are also known for their diversity and experimental artistic attitude! Opus Dei is a lesson of fantastic music and great coversongs!





IX. POSSESSED - "Seven Churches"
This record is fantastic! Brutal vocals, Killer Riffs, Murder Songs!








X. DEAD CAN DANCE - "Into The Labyrinth"
As I love atmospheric music, too, Dead Can Dance is a wonderful act to involve world music and super atmopsheric sounds! This album is the perfection of their own style and an timeless piece of music
