THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN is tentatively planning on entering the studio in June/July 2009 with producer Steve Evetts (EVERY TIME I DIE, SEPULTURA) to begin recording its new album. A late 2009 release is expected.

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's 1998 album "Under the Running Board" was reissued on October 14 via Relapse. The new CD includes the entire Steve Evetts-produced effort as well as 10 bonus tracks. "Under the Running Board" featured the contributions of singer Dimitri Minakakis who left the group afer the release of 1999's "Calculating Infinity".
