The management of Australian hard rock legends ROSE TATTOO has announced that the band's guitarist and founding member, Mick Cocks, has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Manager Steve White said, "Mick has asked that I release this information to avoid the rumor mill taking control of information. The situation is that Mick has been diagnosed with liver cancer and is now under the advice of the very best doctors in Sydney. Treatment plans are underway and Mick is in good spirits and ready for a fight."

ROSE TATTOO guitarist Pete Wells passed away in March 2006 after a long battle with prostate cancer.
