Nominated for two Swedish Grammy 09 awards

Nominations for Swedish Grammy Awards 09 have been revealed. IN FLAMES have been nominated for two awards this year. The categories are "Best Hard Rock" and "Best Live". This year’s award ceremony is taking place in Stockholm (Hovet) on January 7th and is broadcasted live on the Swedish national TV station TV4 between 8 - 10 PM (CET)

IN FLAMES have already won several Grammies in the past: 2004 - "Best Hard Rock", 2005 - "The Swedish Government’s Export Price", 2006 - "Best Hard Rock".

The nominees in "Best Hard Rock" category this year are:

* CULT OF LUNA - "Eternal Kingdom"
* DISMEMBER - "Dismember"
* EVERGREY - "Torn"
* IN FLAMES - "A Sense Of Purpose"
* MESHUGGAH - "obZen"
* MILLENCOLIN - "Machine 15"
* OPETH – "Watershed"
* SABATON - "The Art Of War"
* THE HAUNTED - "Versus"
* TIAMAT - "Amanethes"

Last year's Grammis award in the "Best Hard Rock" category was won by MUSTASCH for the band's "Latest Version Of The Truth" CD. MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee presented the award to MUSTASCH, who beat out such veterans acts as CANDLEMASS, ENTOMBED and CLAWFINGER for the honor.
