Entire new album available for streaming

"In The Light Of Darkness (The Covenant Of Death)", the new album from UNANIMATED — the reunited Swedish melodic death metal band featuring former members of ENTOMBED and DISMEMBER — is available for streaming in its entirety on the group's MySpace page. Norwegian masters of progressive/experimental metal ENSLAVED have been confirmed for the Hole in the Sky festival (a.k.a. Bergen Metal Fest X), set to take place August 26-29, 2009 in Bergen, Norway. Video honored at Finland's MUUVI Awards

NIGHTWISH's video for the song "The Islander" was honored with a "Best Music Video" award at the Muuvi awards ceremony, which was held this past Friday (April 17) in Helsinki. "The Islander" clip was shot and directed by Tuomas "Stobe" Harju at the end of 207 in Rovaniemi, Finland near the Arctic Circle.... More...

New album tracklisting revealed

According to Denmark's Antenna magazine, Danish thrashers ARTILLERY have set "When Death Comes" as the title of their fifth album, due in Europe in June and in Japan in July via Poland's Metal Mind Productions. The CD was recorded at Medley Studios in Copenhagen with producer Søren Andersen (guitar player in Oliver Weers' solo band) at Medley Studios in Copenhagen. A video for the song "10,000 Devils" was shot this past Thursday and will be unveiled when the album is released.... More...
