Turilli opens recording studio, band's activity suspended!

Luca Turilli, guitar player of the Italian symphonic metal masters RHAPSODY OF FIRE, has opened his own new recording studio in Italy. On that occasion he issued the following update:

"I want to tell you that I finally set up my new personal studio, located between the hills and the sea of my Italian hometown, the beautiful Trieste. This studio is based on the wonders of the upcoming Pro Tools 8 from Digidesign and from now on I will use it to compose, record, arrange and produce all my future solo albums. To celebrate this happening and the 10th anniversary of my career as solo artist, I started working on a really special product, something making me really proud and, between the other things, related to my new [online guitar course] Neoclassical Revelation's trademark too. I cannot say anything anymore at this time, but for those of you who want to discover more about this very special product I can say that around Christmas I will reveal more details."

In other news, a few weeks ago RHAPSODY OF FIRE have issued on their official website the following statement:

"We would like to inform everybody that actually the Rhapsody Of Fire band activity relatively to album releases and touring has been suspended, independently from our will, for an unspecified period of time. We are sorry for that. Further news will be made available as soon as we will be in the conditions to release them. Thank you for understanding."

The last news from the band came in June when the announced Rhapsody Of Fire was in a "hard legal fight with MCM and his main representative Mr. Joey De Maio"... No further info was given by the band!
