Since 2003 they've been torturing ears with ultra- extreme, technical death grind stuff, full of weird scales and incomprehensible algorithms. ISOLE

Lost in thought

In my humble opinion Swedish ISOLE is one of the most original and unique bands within doom epic metal genre. I discovered their sad yet beautiful music last year, when I got a promo of band's third studio effort „Bliss Of Solitude”. Its unusual feeling, I mean especially that cold melancholy blended in a brilliant way with some amazing guitar passages and very emotional clean vocal parts of Daniel Bryntse fascinated me immediately. Through fight they grow

Being a metal musician in a country like Poland is not the easiest work. Trust me. I know what I'm saying from my own experience. If you'd like to attract at least a little attention you have to be really focused on your passion, determined and dedicated to what you do. But even those factors – of course connected with high quality of music - do not guarantee that you'll have a chance to record and release an album. And after all it's even harder to find a label which will really support it. I don't know. Maybe it's a question of luck. And what is most important here VIRGIN SNATCH have had that luck. So they were able to break that vicious circle and today once again we can enjoy their high octane, ass kickin' thrash. This horde is not probably a type of band, wanting to be on the tops with the others of metal gods, selling the tons of their albums and following by the trends, that can to guarantee (but mustn’t naturally…) a success and living by the life in glory. KOLDBRANN is like the enemy of everything, this band is against the all of things that are nice, beautiful and good to following. KOLDBRANN is like a real sickness, very difficult to heal, having this “something” within – something like the bacterium of gangrene, making the infected body disgusting and ugly. In my very subjective opinion the newest full length album of that Dutch progressive atmospheric metal act has been one of the biggest surprises of the year. „Altitude” really fascinates me, I can sit and listen to that record for hours, everyday, everynight and everywhere. Great music, poetic lyrics, sensual voice of band's new female singer Marjan Welman, it all creates a unique atmosphere and makes it easy to escape from the real world.
