Arise again

- Are there any definite plans to record the follow-up to "Inflikted"?
I think so. We’re talking about it. And after the next SOULFLY album we’ll go into the studio and do another CAVALERA CONSPIRACY’s record. We just gotta see what happens. But definitely we will have a new record. I really want to do it.

- You've released two solo albums which show your interest in a wide range of styles. How important it is for you to be open minded as a musician? What kind of experience do you gain from creating and recording those albums?
As much as I really love heavy, thrash, death metal and hard core I’m also really into prog metal like DREAM THEATER or RUSH. I love the instrumental guitar music too: JOE SATRIANI, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and I love PACO DE LUCIA. This is something that I’ve always wanted to do all instrumental-guitar record. Just make the guitar the main focus.

- I've heard that your first solo tour was a quite big success. Aren’t you afraid that some day solo career may disturb your activity in SOULFLY? What would you choose if you'd forced to quit one of those activities?
Yeah my solo project is a real passion I got two records out and done four US tours with it. Hopefully I will come over to Europe. I like doing both solo records and playing in the band. It all works out.

- You often wear Italian national team football shirts . When did the love for Italian soccer started to grow in your heart?
I just wear it ‘cause I really like Italian fashion. I don’t like soccer at all. It’s too boring. I don’t watch it.
