New album details available

As previously reported, Canadian metallers VOIVOD have confirmed Infini as the title of their final album, due out June 12th/15th via Nuclear Blast Europe and JVC Japan. The album will be released in early July via Relapse Records in the US and Sonic Unyon in Canada.

Infini tracklisting is as follows: 'God Phones', 'From The Cave', 'Earthache', 'Global Warning', 'A Room With A V.U.', 'Destroy After Reading', 'Treasure Chase', 'Krap Radio', 'In Orbit', 'Deathproof', 'Pyramidome', 'Morpheus', 'Volcano'.

According to a recent band update, former METALLICA/Voivod bassist Jason Newsted ended up playing on all the bass tracks on the album. Infini marks the end of the Voivod songs late guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Amour wrote and performed. Voivod will release a DVD of their first ever performance in Japan, featuring all early Voivod material with Blacky on bass and Dan Mongrain (MARTYR) on guitar.
