At the Musician Institute in Hollywood

On January 31, former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman will give a "master class" at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. He will take part in a 4:00 p.m. clinic in MI's main concert hall "P100" and will follow it up with a one-song performance by the girl band BEPPIN SAN. He says, "I have a TV show in Japan on NHK called 'Paphoo!' (Perform). Every episode is a different theme, this time it is on location in L.A. where I will produce a song for this band that I chose out of hundreds of entrants from the entire country." No tickets are being sold, so get there early to ensure your entrance.

Friedman released the "Exhibit A - Live in Europe" CD in the U.S. in August 2008 by Mascot Records. According to a press release, "Live in Europe" is "an aggressive, passionate and absorbing live performance that exposes the beauty and the beast in Friedman's personality. The album was recorded in 2007 featuring audio tracks from his latest tour in support of the album 'Loudspeaker' performed in Germany, Holland, England, Israel, Czech Republic, and Italy between March 31 and April 10, 2007."
